Do you look after a relative or a friend who cannot
manage alone?
Yes?
Then you are a carer.

Carers are people whose lives are restricted by caring for
a relative, friend or neighbour who, because of illness, disability,
or the effects of old age, cannot manage at home without help.
Caring is not exclusive to either sex or to any age. Carers are
ordinary people who simply get on with what has to be done
when someone close to them needs help. Caring can be stressful
and tiring and some people do it for many years, often unaware
of what help is available to them.
